Oh! Christmas Tree

Some of you may want to stop following my posts as I am bringing in Christmas too early but you can't stop my love for all things green, white and red :) I love Christmas. Everything about it... Christmas trees, overdecorating, all the food, the smell of tinsel and of course PRESENTS! These are some of the things I love and am keen to do in my home for Christmas time...

Kelly Put the Kettle On

My little Christmas gift to myself was this beautiful kettle from Le Creuset! I have had my eye on this for a while and I managed to save enough of my Christmas bonus to afford this at the end of the month. I love it :)

M.I.A and We Are Away

Shew, I feel like it has been ages since I last typed a message and posted a pic in this little editing block. But, I guess the truth is that it has been... I have been super duper busy in the past few weeks planning things, designing and trying to also relax. Lee and I went on a little Berg adventure last week this time and had such a great time taking a slow drive through the Midlands Meander and then resting at an amazing place called Fernwood Lodge. It was beautiful and nice to just chill! I have also been desperately waiting for all the Secret Santa's to post on their gifts they received! Golly, I love gifts :) Anyways, I thought that I would pop in and say hello and bye for a bit as we are off to Kidds Beach for 10 days on Thursday so we will speak soon after that! For now, I will just inform you of the MOST amazing place to go for dessert in Durban right now - Ci Gusta! Delicious Italian gelato served in such a quirky little shop on the corner of Florida Road. I suggest you head there for some salted caramel, the ferrero rocher flavoured one and black chocolate gelato... Ok, maybe I am just being biased to the flavours but they are GOOD!

I am so excited to say that the Bloggers Secret Santa is going SO well so far. There are so many people that are so keen for this and I must just say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has contacted me so far. I am looking forward to letting everyone know who they will be spoiling! Do you love prezzies? Everything about them from the giving to the receiving, from the buying to the making, from the wrapping to the ribbons? I know all of us bloggers have a think for prezzies and so that it why in a brainwave of a moment this morning I decided to go forward with the idea of a Bloggers Secret Santa! I have mailed a bunch of bloggers already but because the web is so wide I am sure I have missed a few keen secret santa's so please pop me an email to take part and I will fill you in on more info and eventually make you a secret santa to another willing blogger. Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree... Wait... that's over! But prezzies aren't! My hubby-to-be knows me all too well and bought me this for Christmas! I love this fragrance and have been dying to own it & now I do. Just in time for the wedding too :)

Espresso Martini

Every Christmas should have a good mix of wholesome warmth and seasonal jolly. Well doesn't this just say it all... An Espresso Martini is a delicious mix of rich coffee and fresh martini! Here is an easy recipe!

30ml cold espresso
45ml vodka
45ml Kahlua
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously and strain into martini glasses.
