Pantone Week {Day 5-African Violet & Dusk Blue}

Firstly I must apologise for the lateness in this post. I was a bit busy on Friday and didn't get around to putting up this post. But better late than never, I present Day 5 of Pantone Week. African Violet & Dusk Blue, two colours that work so well together simply for their pastel prettiness! I think these colours work so well in a vintage style wedding or a beautiful vintage breakfast for your birthday. Stunning Pantones! What do you think of these colours? Are they better in fashion or in decor or do you think that they are style equals?

Pantone Week {Day 4-Nectarine & Lemon Zest}

These fresh colours are so fun and inviting! I love yellow, it is my favourite colour so the fact that Lemon Zest was one of the Pantones for Spring 2013 makes my heart so happy! I think these colours can work together in stationery items, decor and in a fruit salad but I don't think so much with fashion. I also like the idea of Lemon Zest with a grey for wedding decor and Nectarine with a lighter peach or white for a party. Are either of these funky colours your favourite?

Pantone Week {Day 3-Emerald & Monaco Blue}

Today we are having a look at Emerald & Monaco Blue. These two regal colours are so powerful and wonderful just on their own. You can use these colours for big statement fashion pieces such as large cocktail rings, big gem necklaces or the lovely emerald pants in the image below. They both work so well with gold accesories which make them even more regal and strong. Emerald is one of the main colours out of all the Pantones for Spring 2013. Pantone Week {Day 2-Tender Shoots & Poppy Red}

It is day 2 of Pantone Week and today we are combining Tender Shoots(P14-0446) and Poppy Red(P17-1664). I know a lot of you think of Christmas just brighter when you see these colours combined but why not picture a bright and colourful, summer luncheon table decorated in a Poppy Red and white striped table cloth with big bowls of greens to munch on! Sounds all too delicious to me. These colours again are perfectly complimentary and work well more so in decor than in fashion (unless you would like to look like a luncheon table or an elf). Pantone Week {Day 1-Linen & Grayed Jade}

With there being a variety of Pantones on the cards for Spring 2013 I thought why not do a mash up of two per day and make a week out of it! So here I present to you my Pantone Week (sort of like a fashion week with the pantones). For {Day 1} I decided to combine the colours, Linen (P12-1008) and Grayed Jade (P14-6011).  These two colours compliment each other beautifully and work well both in decor and fashion! With that being said do you not agree that these two colours could work SO well together for a wedding or even a baby shower?! The soft hues make it romantic and feminine as well as calming and nurturing. Mix and match the colours for stunning bridesmaids dresses (popping some Nectarine in would add that WOW factor). I think I may even consider a logo change after seeing these colours combined. Stunning!

We have all seen the colour popping up since it became one of the pantones for Spring 2012. Pink! Here are some inspiring pics of the colour in fashion, decor and beauty! Have you tried it yet?
